1. i still cant figure it out........ - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
A maller has 6 high slots but only 5 of those could mount turreted objects like guns and mining lasers. If you look at the Maller Info, you will see the maximum turrets it has.. 5. In the leftover high slot you can install something else like a sm...

2. CCP Needs a Stragegy Guide for EVE - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
This game, just like any other Massive Mutli-player Online game, is constantly being updated and changed through patches, so a strategy guide written today will be just about useless next month.. maybe even next week! If you ask CCP to write one,...

3. "Carebear" - The Term - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I like all these alternatives to the word "Carebear". However, if a player wants CCP to nerf combat, gate camping, mining, NPC's, travel, manufacturing, etc., they are usually called a carebear. Why not call them what they are? Nerfseeker .

4. Fixing Concord (Post here) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I agree with the "support ships seen as aggressors too" idea. If you "heal" a ship that is attacking an NPC, even if you had never fired a shot at the NPC, you are still considered an aggressor to that NPC and therefore, could be fired on. Actuall...

5. I rest my case - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Thug-like dictators rule over whole nations of people and torture and kill whomever they like. They keep food away from the unfortunate people under their rule, and they build palaces from aid money. You might want to rethink your comparison of th...

6. Zombie's Return Yay or Nay? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Nay to letting Zombies back in. They may have been protesting or showing a design flaw or maybe they were just being jerks. In the end, they took advantage of game mechanics so they could get away with podding people in 1.0 space. Good bye. If t...

7. Any former ENB players? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yep... I played EnB for about 7 months.. I stopped playing it about 6 months ago, cancelled account and everything. I played Explorers, Warriors and Traders and I had some cool guild colleagues, a cool roleplay guild and enjoyed my time there. But...

8. The Reality Dysfunction - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Also, check out Vernor Vinge's A Fire Upon the Deep a modern classic that is galaxy-spanning and the communications network in the book reminds me of EVE and how its population talks about each other. And then there is Walter Jon Williams' Voi...

9. Zero consequences...this is daft - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The short answer: Concord is made up of corrupt officials who line their pockets with payments from enigmatic individuals belonging to many different pirate corps. The real answer, I'd say, is that Concord is there to mainly protect newbies in Em...

10. Alternates and irritating behavior? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote: I hope to be flying a Kestrel someday, if only the main character would stop hogging all the funds and skill training, why can't ALTs train at the same time CCP? That's what second accounts are for And then you can fight yours...

11. Where the BLEEP are the Aliens?!? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The aliens are out there... somewhere... watching you. They snicker at our little wars and find our inability to detect them pathetic. They bide their time as they watch us fragment ourselves into little separate factions. One thing, we call them...

12. How to start a pirate career? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Go into a 0.0 system. Get stopped by pirates there. Ask for a parley. They'll let you know what's what. You might want to have a few mil ISK in your wallet at the time.

13. Would you rather? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
No to all three. As for battleships versus frigates, I do like the idea of it being harder for larger ships to hit frigates, but I am against nerfing on all levels. Make the frigates faster and more maneuverable (with skills.. not asking for joys...

14. How did you find out about EVE? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I was playing Earth and Beyond when I heard about EVE from the E&B forums about a year ago. I started to lurk in the forums and signed up for the EVE beta. I was accepted right before the game was released (I think most were), but then my computer...

17. Clone Question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I see what you are saying, Lindorf. You updated your clone when you only had 2 million sp, but you bought the 2.5 million sp version. If you die now, the logical and realistic thing to happen is that you will be "reborn" with only 2 million sp. Ho...
